OK, I guess actually telling anybody about it. When I won mine, at Willow, I beat Johnny Rock Page, who went on to be the slowest consistent Superbike rider in history! So there!

I appreciate the humor and lack of hubris while not being condescending. A little bit at a time adds up in the end. It’s all about “gotta wanna”. I, for one, ride 50 miles a day, 5 days a week, do 40 mins on my stairmaster 4 days per week and always find time to do the little things. And not just to stay in shape for riding; it’s so I can be a burden on society for years to come. 🙂 (fyi, I’m 57, but don’t have your history of riding when young, only on a bicycle. Tho I was a “roadie” for 20 years in my 30’s – early 50’s)
